Admission Requirements

    ~  Submit Enrollment Contract
    ~  Submit full payment of Registration Fee (cash/check/credit card)
    ~  Submit a copy of your high school diploma or GED.
    ~  Submit a copy of your drivers license or state-issued ID.
    ~  Complete financial aid forms, if desired.
    ~  Submit all transcripts from previous post-secondary schools, as requested.
    ~  Payment plan in place (financial aid, student loans, etc.).

Financial Aid

Pell Grant & MN Grant Funds— Complete your FAFSA form on line at  www.fafsa.gov.  Grant funds are determined based on financial eligibility.   
    ~ If starting July 1, 2011 or later, select 2011/2012 school year and use your 2010 Federal income taxes. If you are classified as ‘dependent’, your parents’ 2010 Federal income taxes will be needed as well.
    ~ School code you will need to enter is 041756
    ~ Once you have completed entering your FAFSA, print the Confirmation Page that appears on your screen.  Bring this confirmation with you to your enrollment appointment.
   
Federal Direct Loan - Direct Loans are low interest loans to help pay for the cost of education after high school.  Direct Loans are available for the full Cosmetology Program only.   The lender is the U.S.  Department of Education.  Subsidized interest rate is 3.4%; unsubsidized interest rate will never exceed 8.25%.  Apply for this student loan online at www.studentloans.gov.  The school code is 041756 and the Direct Loan code is G41756.  You must have completed your FAFSA to apply for a Direct Loan.
   
SELF Loan—  Apply for this student loan online at www.selfloan.org .  Adjustable interest rate currently at 3.8%.  Interest only, paid quarterly, while in school and the first 12 months after graduation. Up to $7,500.00 is available with a qualified co-signer.  Additional funds may be available after completing 900 hours of the Cosmetology program.  The SELF Loan is available for all Programs offered.

Financial aid funds will not be disbursed for student living allowance until all monies owed Park Avenue School of Cosmetology are paid in full.

All tuition and fees must be paid in full to receive your graduation documents.
